Gone 2 Soon Foundation story
On August 9, 2009 Danny “Big Tree” Anderson lost another loved one to cancer. It was at this moment that he decided to become one man; wit one mission and one goal. Rather than mourn over death he figured it'd be better to cherish a birth, he'd honor the names of all the people he lost too soon and Gone 2 Soon was born.

As a first step Danny has chosen to run a marathon, which in and of itself is no easy task for a first timer. However, he feels that it will ease some of the pain of losing someone by honoring them. What makes this run just that much more special is that on back of his shirt there will be lists of names of love ones that all have Goon 2 Soon.

Just as the Mission states:

          “One Man, One Team with One Mission;
          To Cure the World, One Disease at a Time”

One Man – Danny “Big Tree” Anderson will represent One Team everyone that has lost some one too soon helping support One Mission to help raise money and reach one goal. To help educate and support people in research To Cure The World of disease, to help stop losing loved ones too soon. And with a dedicated team and your support we plan to do this One Disease at a Time.

Danny will be entering into various events around the world leading our one man team, to accomplish goals that the average ordinary man can not accomplish. The idea is, if an average couch potato like Danny can accomplish goals which seems like a real stretch that most of us cant do ourselves then indeed we can have hope to help in the fight to cure the world of diseases.

What makes us different is the fact that Gone 2 Soon Foundation will take input from everyone who contributes and helps us raise money to help reach our goal. We will vote on where and what we will use our one man team to compete in. Then we will vote on where we will donate the money raise to what foundation (examples: Cancer, Diabetes, AIDS research)
